Acorn TV Orders More Harry Wild

Acorn TV has renewed the Jane Seymour-led mystery series Harry Wild for a third season, which will debut next year.

In season three, Harry Wild and her partner Fergus will find their agency as busy as ever. Throughout the season, they will be hired to prove the lead singer of Ireland’s hottest boy band didn’t kill himself, find out who decapitated a woman in a busy restaurant and served her head on a platter and discover who murdered a despotic director on the set of a daytime soap opera.

Wild and Fergus must find a way to balance their work and personal lives, which are equally as busy. Fergus plans to contest Paula’s custody claim to Liberty, while Wild meets a charming private detective and finds herself falling for him even though she’s not sure she can trust him.

Seymour reprises her role as Wild, while Rohan Nedd (Whitstable Pearl) returns as Fergus. Additional returning cast members are Kevin Ryan (Guilt, Copper), Amy Huberman (Finding Joy, Striking Out), Samantha Mumba (The Time Machine, Evolution), Paul Tylak (Kin) and Rose O’Neill.

Harry Wild is produced by Dynamic Television, with Acorn Media Enterprises and ZDF co-producing. The third season is created and written by David Logan, along with writer Jo Spain. Robert Quinn and Emer Conroy are directing. Executive producers are Seymour, Daniel March, Klaus Zimmermann, James Gibb, Morgan O’Sullivan, James Flynn, Catherine Mackin and Bea Tammer.

“I am thrilled for another mystery-packed season of Harry Wild and can’t wait for our fans to see what investigations Harry and Fergus encounter in season three on Acorn TV,” Seymour said. “It has been such a joy playing this multifaceted character, and returning to Ireland again to work with this talented cast and crew was fantastic.”
