Acorn TV Orders Fifth Season of Harry Wild

Acorn TV has renewed its Jane Seymour-led mystery series Harry Wild for a fifth season.

In season five, the titular character, played by Seymour, will delve into murder mysteries in the worlds of whiskey-making, theater and musical tattoos.

Production on the new season will begin in Dublin, Ireland, later this year. Season four aired its finale on June 2. This past season ranks among Acorn TV’s top ten most-watched seasons of all time, with viewership up double-digits from the prior season.

Harry Wild is produced by Dynamic Television. Acorn Media Enterprises co-produces alongside ZDF. Season five will be written by David Logan, along with writer Jo Spain. It will be executive produced by executive produced by Logan, Spain, Seymour, Daniel March, Klaus Zimmermann, James Gibb, David McLoughlin, Catherine Mackin and Bea Tammer, as well as ZDF’s Frank Seyberth and Claus Wunn.
