ABC Australia Readies Significant Others Debut

The Australian psychological drama Significant Others is set to make its premiere next month on ABC TV and ABC iview.

The six-part series follows a family struggling to piece together their lives after a loved one vanishes. It features Zoë Steiner and Gulliver McGrath (Hugo) alongside Rachael Blake (Lantana), Alison Bell (The Letdown), Kenneth Moraleda (Janet King) and Jacqueline McKenzie (Savage River).

Rounding out the ensemble are Todd McKenney (Strictly Ballroom), Rarriwuy Hick (Cleverman), Diana Popovska (Rake), Alan Dukes (Operation Buffalo) and Fayssal Bazzi (Stateless).

Significant Others is a Fremantle production for the ABC. Major production investment from Screen Australia in association with the ABC and financed with support from Screen NSW.

It is slated to debut in Australia on October 16 at 8:30 p.m.
