LONDON: FOX Turkey has ordered a fourth season of the top-rating drama That is My Life (O Hayat Benim), which will be on offer from FOX at MIPTV.

Produced by Pastel Film, That is My Life has already run for three seasons in Turkey, with more than 80 feature-length episodes produced. FOX recently closed a new round of deals for the drama, including with ANTV in Hong Kong, Kanal 5 in Bulgaria, Kanal D in Romania, MTG in Russia and Puls TV in Poland. That is My Life was also recently picked up by the Moby Group in the Middle East, Telemundo in Latin America and Belleville for its channels in 11 territories across Central and South America.

Prentiss Fraser, FOX’s senior VP and global head of content sales, commented: “Local-language drama, with great storytelling and excellent production values, is really getting noticed by international buyers and Turkey is providing a rich seam of popular content. As the exclusive distributor for FOX Turkey’s growing slate we are delighted that a new season of That is My Life has been commissioned and are confident that it will find new homes next week, including those broadcasters with which we have recently closed deals.

“We will have more than 700 hours of Turkish drama available at MIPTV and in addition to this new season, we will also be launching two new series, Double Bliss, a romantic comedy about a man who unwittingly ends up with two wives and Shades of Sacrifice, a big new drama following the loves, lives and secrets of three intertwining families.”
