GMA Network Announces ATF Slate

GMA Network will present Her Name Was Carolina and My Father’s Wife at the Asia TV Forum in Singapore.

“These titles resonate with international buyers because they feature powerful emotions—suspense, romance and family drama—that connect with audiences worldwide,” said Rochella Ann Salvador, assistant VP of the Worldwide Division. “Both series showcase strong female leads whose journeys of courage, resilience and hard choices draw viewers in, making the characters relatable.”

Her Name Was Carolina follows Lorena Herrera Ocampo, a woman who seemed to have it all, until her true identity as Carolina Astor, wanted for the death of her husband’s first wife, is revealed. Imprisoned, Lorena must fight to clear her name, unmask the real culprit and protect her daughter.

My Father’s Wife follows Gina, who marries her best friend Betsy’s boyfriend to help him secure a green card. A night of passion between them leads to an unexpected pregnancy. In retaliation, Betsy marries Gina’s father, leading to high-stake feuds filled with drama and revenge.

“At ATF this December, our mission is to showcase GMA’s content to the world, revive the presence of Filipino dramas in Southeast Asian markets, strengthen existing partnerships and secure deals for 2026,” added Salvador.
