Three’s Ms. X Adds to Cast

Ms. X, a crime dramedy from Plus6Four Entertainment, South Pacific Pictures and Dynamic Television for New Zealand’s Three and ThreeNow, has added five new members to its cast.

Joining the already announced Melissa George (In Treatment) are Dean O’Gorman (After the Party), Simone Kessell (Yellowjackets), Robbie Magasiva (Rescue: HI-Surf), Jonno Roberts (La Brea) and Oscar Kightley (Time Bandits).

Ms. X is created and written by Hannah Marshall and David de Lautour. It follows a suburban mom who teams up with an old high school friend to scare her cheating husband into staying faithful. When their plan turns accidentally homicidal, they are pulled into a criminal web involving cops, cartels and the PTA.

Production on the series began on June 2 in Auckland. Plus6Four and South Pacific Pictures are producing, with Dynamic Television co-producing and handling worldwide distribution. The series is made possible with support from NZ On Air and the NZ Screen Production Rebate.

“We are thrilled Ms. X attracted such an extraordinary talented cast,” said Daniel March, managing partner at Dynamic Television. “It is a testament to Hannah and David’s fantastic scripts and their larger-than-life characters these incredible actors will bring to the screen.”

Warner Bros. Discovery’s senior director of content for ANZ networks, Matt Barthow, commented, “The casting of Ms. X assembles a remarkable talent pool, headlined by the exceptional Melissa George and joined by a talented ensemble of established and emerging New Zealand actors. This cast brings a unique perspective and energy to the screen, and we can’t wait for audiences to see the results in 2026.”

“We are delighted at the caliber of talent Ms. X has attracted,” added Kelly Martin, CEO of South Pacific Pictures. “It is testament to the strength of the scripts. We are confident that audiences worldwide are going to love this show.”

Hannah Marshall, showrunner, added, “We’re so excited to have such an exceptional cast bringing these characters to life with distinctive and memorable performances, which we know are going to captivate audiences and place Ms. X firmly on the global stage.”
