C More Orders Crime Series from Dynamic TV & Kaiho

C More has commissioned the crime series The Reindeer Mafia from Dynamic Television and Finnish production house Kaiho Republic.

The crime saga tells the story of an intense power struggle between members of a family that control the local businesses after the matriarch’s will is revealed and past secrets are unveiled. Production is slated to begin in Finland in January, with an expected premiere in 2023.

The cast includes Samuli Edelmann (Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol, The Girl King, The Violin Player), Mikael Persbrandt (Sex Education, Riget, The Unlikely Murderer, In a Better World, The Hobbit) and Anna-Maija Tuokko (Master Cheng, Bordertown). Mika Kurvinen is the scriptwriter and director. Producers are Pete Eklund and Liisa Penttilä-Asikainen from Kaiho Republic, with Rein Film’s Mathis Ståle Mathisen co-producing.
