Hulu Japan Picks Up Filthy Rich

Newen Distribution has struck a deal with Hulu Japan for the two seasons of Filthy Rich, centered on the three illegitimate children of one of New Zealand’s wealthiest men.

The agreement with Newen’s distribution arm gives Hulu Japan its first New Zealand series and marks its first partnership with a French distributor. Filthy Rich was produced by Filthy Productions for TV2 in New Zealand and is set to be launched in 2020 on Hulu Japan.

Filthy Rich has already been sold to Hulu in the U.S. and FOX in the Middle East. There’s a U.S. version in the works for FOX.
