German Deal for Two Brothers Pictures’ Cheat

ARD Degeto in Germany has picked up the psychological thriller Cheat from all3media international.

From Two Brothers Pictures for ITV in the U.K. in association with all3media international, Cheat stars Katherine Kelly (Strike Back, Happy Valley) alongside Molly Windsor (Three Girls). The four-parter has also been licensed into markets such as France, Africa, Poland, Sweden, Australia and North America.

The deal comes as all3media international prepares to screen Cheat, alongside Baptiste, at Berlinale as part of the event’s Drama Series Days.

Also from Two Brothers Pictures, Baptiste stars Tchéky Karyo (The Missing) as investigator Julien Baptiste. DR (Denmark), ITI Neovision (Poland), RUV (Iceland) and BBC Studios (Africa and Australia) have signed up for TV rights to the six-part drama. C More Entertainment acquired SVOD rights for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, while DVD rights have gone to ABC for Australia, and DTO rights to Amazon, iTunes and Google for the U.K.

Stephen Driscoll, executive VP for EMEA at all3media international, commented: “We’re very pleased to sign this significant deal in Europe for Cheat ahead of our drama showcase at this year’s Berlinale. Harry and Jack Williams’ Two Brothers Pictures has established an incredible global reputation for delivering the best in contemporary primetime drama and new titles Cheat and Baptiste are already attracting strong interest in the international market. We’re looking forward to presenting both as part of Berlinale’s Drama Series Days, which continues our successful collaboration with this prestigious event, following previous screenings of key titles such as Severn Screen’s gritty crime drama Hidden (Craith).”
