Vegas, Elementary Lead Global’s Fall Slate

TORONTO: The fall prime-time lineup for Canada’s Global kicks off with the September 25 premiere of Vegas, starring Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis.

Vegas, set in the 1960s, gets under way on September 25 at 10 p.m. The new drama Last Resort, from executive producer/writer Shawn Ryan (The Shield), follows with a premiere on September 27 at 8 p.m. The same night, Elementary, a modern-day spin on the Sherlock Holmes story starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu, launches in the 10 p.m. slot.

Friday, September 28, Global hosts the Canadian premiere of Made in Jersey, occupying the 9 p.m. hour. Chicago Fire anchors Global’s Wednesday lineup, debuting October 10 at 10 p.m. The Matthew Perry comedy Go On premieres September 11 for two weeks before moving to its regular Wednesday 9 p.m. slot as of September 26. Guys with Kids, from executive producer Jimmy Fallon, launches on September 11 at 9:30 p.m. Animal Practice follows on September 30 at 7 p.m.

Returning shows include Parenthood, Bones, Survivor, Glee, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and The Good Wife.
