Tricon Scores Deals on Scripted Slate

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has sold 140 hours of programming, including the sci-fi drama Sanctuary and the comedies InSecurity and Michael: Tuesday’s & Thursday’s, to broadcasters around the world.

Season four of Sanctuary has been picked up by ABC Australia, NBCUniversal/Steel Network Italy, UKTV, and YES DBS Israel. EBC Taiwan opted for the first two seasons, while all four seasons were acquired by  Pyramid Entertainment Kuwait and TET TV Ukraine.

The 12×30-minute comedy Michael: Tuesday’s & Thursday’s is headed to Izi Media Group Malaysia and Globosat Brazil. Globosat also secured InSecurity. Strong Technologies Ltd Nigeria, meanwhile, picked up Smart Woman Survival Guide and Forbidden Science.
