Rogers Picks Up Package from 20th Century Fox Television for City

TORONTO: There are 12 new series coming to the 2015-16 prime-time lineup of Canada's City channel, eight of which come from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

On Monday nights, The Muppets will lead into Life in Pieces. These two are paired with The Middle and Scorpion. Three new series form the Tuesday lineup: Grandfathered, The Grinder and Scream Queens. Wednesdays feature Empire, Modern Family and black-ish. Thursday nights kick off with the Canadian original Mr. D, leading into Life in Pieces, Mom and The Mindy Project (City is the only television network in North America that will air The Mindy Project). Undateable is new to City for Friday nights. Also new to City are Bob's Burgers and Family Guy, which previously aired on Global. These two animated comedies are paired on Sundays with The Last Man on Earth, as well as the City original Sunnyside.

Joining the City mid-season schedule are new titles Rush Hour, Bordertown, Little Big Shots and The Guide to Surviving Life.
