Peace Point Rights Makes Deal with Grand Pictures

TORONTO: Peace Point Rights has landed the rights to new scripted series and feature films from Grand Pictures in Ireland.

Acquired content includes School Run, a 75-minute scripted dramatic comedy; the first two seasons of Stew, a 12×30-minute sketch show featuring Paul Tylak and Paul Woodfull; Ding Dong Denny O’Reilly, a half-hour-long live recording from Paul Woodfull; and Fergus’s Wedding, a 6×30-minute comedy series.

The company has also purchased features such as Spin the Bottle, Situations Vacant and Dead Long Enough.

"Grand Pictures has produced truly wonderful content that will resonate with viewers around the world. We are delighted to be adding these titles to our growing catalogue," said Les Tomlin, the president and CEO of Peace Point Entertainment.
