High Fidelity Series Lands on Starz in Canada

Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International has signed a licensing agreement to send the new Hulu Original comedy series High Fidelity to Starz in Canada.

Starring Zoe Kravitz (Big Little Lies), the gender-flipped reboot of Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and the subsequent 2000 film follows a record store owner in New York City as she revisits past relationships through music and pop culture while trying to get over her one true love. The series also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Dolemite Is My Name), David H. Holmes (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mindhunter), Jake Lacy (Girls) and Kingsley Ben-Adir (Noelle).

High Fidelity will debut on Starz in Canada on Friday, February 21, with all ten episodes dropping on its streaming platform and on-demand platforms. The series premieres on the Starz TV channels with two episodes on Sunday, February 23, and will continue to roll out with two episodes weekly.

Produced by ABC Signature Studios, a part of Disney Television Studios, High Fidelity was developed for television by writers Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka. Kravitz serves as executive producer, alongside West and Kucserka.
