Fashion Star Scores Canadian Slot

TORONTO: The new competition series Fashion Star, executive produced and hosted by supermodel Elle Macpherson, has been picked up by Bell Media to air on CTV Two and MuchMusic in Canada.

The show features celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos. Fashion Star gives 14 aspiring designers a chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their own collections. The series kicks off with a 90-minute premiere on March 13 on CTV Two. The show will run with one-hour episodes starting March 20. Encore presentations will air on MuchMusic starting March 19.
