Discovery GO Launches in Canada

TORONTO: The premium video streaming service Discovery GO has gone live in Canada for subscribers of Bell Fibe TV, Bell Satellite TV, Eastlink, Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct.

Discovery GO will soon be available to Bell FibreOP TV subscribers. At launch, Discovery GO is accessible online, via iOS and Android apps, and on TV set-top boxes. The TV Everywhere service will initially feature 4,500 hours of content and more than 7,000 hours by January 2016. Discovery GO will allow subscribers to live stream and view programs on demand on smartphones, tablets and computers, as well as on TV. Subscribers will be able to watch shows from channels such as Discovery, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Science and Discovery Velocity at no additional cost to channel subscribers of participating TV service providers. Available shows include Highway Thru Hell, Deadliest Catch and more.

Additionally, Discovery GO will soon become one of the first TV Everywhere services in Canada to offer content in 4K/Ultra HD.
