TORONTO: Although there are a slew of returning series for CTV’s 2013-14 lineup, the network did make several key additions to its upcoming schedule, including Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

With Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, CTV has slated the new comedies The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife to follow at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively. Tuesdays will be capped off with the addition of Person of Interest.

Mondays will feature the drama Hostages in the fall and Intelligence midseason. These shows will serve as the lead-out to returning hit The Voice.

On Wednesdays, CTV is starting the evening with the 7 p.m. broadcast of The Tomorrow People. The show is paired with the returning series Arrow, Criminal Minds and CSI. The Thursday schedule remains largely unchanged, with The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and Grey’s Anatomy. The 10 p.m. hour will feature the Canadian police drama Played, a slot previously occupied by Flashpoint and Motive.

Fridays feature Junior MasterChef kicking things off at 8 p.m., while Grimm and Blue Bloods hold on to their original slots.

CTV is moving Dancing with the Stars, The Voice (Tuesdays), The X Factor, American Idol and Undercover Boss to CTV Two this fall.

In total, CTV’s fall schedule features 17.5 hours of simulcast programming weekly, more than any other Canadian network. Its entire lineup will be available on the network’s new TV Everywhere platform CTV GO, which is launching this fall.

"Year-after-year, CTV offers programming consistency and durability not found anywhere else," said Phil King, the president of CTV Programming and Sports. "It’s tough to crack the CTV lineup, but when programs do, they have the best chance of success on CTV. We’re very excited to bring a powerhouse lineup to viewers and advertisers that features some of the most compelling programming available."
