Peace Point Unveils MIPTV 2015 Highlights

TORONTO: At next week's market in Cannes, Peace Point Rights plans to present to international buyers a variety of documentary and lifestyle series, as well as the Latin American rights for new scripted productions from Muse Entertainment.

Among the company's factual highlights are Escape or Die!, which looks on as escape artist Dean Gunnarson prepares for the daring stunts he performs around the world; Ice Racer Showdown, which sees ordinary people compete against each other on ice-covered obstacle courses and racetracks; and the second season of Colin and Justin's Cabin Pressure, led by the infamous design duo. There is also the sophomore season of Bake with Anna Olson, in which the famed pastry chef teaches viewers the art of baking; as well as Frontier Vets, a wildlife reality program following eight veterinary students; and In Space: 50 Years of Space Exploration, chronicling five decades of space-related achievements.

Peace Point is also offering up the Latin American rights for Muse Entertainment's Tut, a special-event miniseries about King Tutankhamun; Signed, Sealed, Delivered, which follows four postal workers as they hunt for the intended recipients of undeliverable mail; Aurora Teagarden: A Bone to Pick, focused on a woman who is named heir to the estate of a deceased acquaintance; and The Gourmet Detective, which tells the tale of a chef who begins to investigate a murder.
