marblemedia Appoints Former Bell Media Exec to New Scripted Role

TORONTO: marblemedia has tapped Carrie Paupst Shaughnessy for the newly created role of VP of scripted.

The appointment is effective immediately, and in her new role, Paupst Shaughnessy will be charged with developing, sourcing and overseeing the company’s scripted development slate in prime time, live action, youth and digital, including titles such as Alchemy, Dark Horse and Held. She will build on the company’s relationships with broadcasters, co-producing partners and creators. Paupst Shaughnessy will also work closely with the marblemedia team, specifically Matt Hornburg, the co-CEO and executive producer.

Paupst Shaughnessy joins marblemedia from Bell Media where she was production executive on the drama team. Prior to that, she spent more than seven years at Telefilm Canada. She has also worked for the Canada Media Fund.
