U.S. Drama Wedding Band Scores Asian Slots

CANNES: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has penned deals with two multi-territory broadcasters in the Asia Pacific for the drama Wedding Band.

Sony picked up the show for its viewers in East Asia. Viacom18 is bringing the series into India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives. With these two deals, Wedding Band will reach audiences in more than 45 territories. 

Ganesh Rajaram, the senior VP of international distribution and home entertainment for Asia at FME, commented, “Wedding Band is fun and youthful, it’s got a great script and a wonderful cast. We’re really looking forward to its premiere across Asia.”
