Sundance Channel Enters Indonesia

NEW YORK: AMC/Sundance Channel Global has secured new carriage deals in Asia, including the first-ever launch of Sundance Channel in Indonesia.

Sundance Channel is joining the DTH platform Indovision. It marks the first time that the channel will be available in Indonesia. The network will be subtitled into Bahasa Indonesia. This follows on the heels of WE tv’s debut on Astro in Malaysia. There, the network is being made available in HD via Astro B.yond IPTV with Maxis. Sundance Channel previously launched on Astro B.yond HD, in 2011.

Bruce Tuchman, the president of AMC/Sundance Channel Global, commented, “We’re very excited to launch for the first time in Indonesia on Indovision, one of Asia’s biggest subscription television platforms and a pioneer in the industry. We look forward to delivering the best of independent-minded entertainment to fans across the region.”
