Starz Expands Deal with Hulu Japan

TOKYO/BEVERLY HILLS: Starz Digital has expanded its content licensing pact with Hulu in Japan to include Ash vs Evil Dead and seasons one and two of Power.

Starz Digital previously inked a deal with HJ Holdings, parent company of Hulu in Japan, for Black Sails, which has become a top-three performer on the SVOD service.

Power is a crime drama set against the backdrop of the drug trade in New York. Ash vs Evil Dead is the follow up to the classic horror film The Evil Dead. Starz Digital is the global digital and on-demand licensing arm of Starz.
