Singtel TV Brings MNC Drama to Singapore

SINGAPORE: Singtel has made the Indonesian sinetron channel MNC Drama available in Singapore.

The channel, whose tagline is "A Full Day of Drama," is the online dedicated sinetron (similar to the soap opera genre) channel in Singapore. The network airs 12 hours of fresh content per day, including Tukang Bubur Naik Haji, starring Mat Solar and Nani Wijaya; Aisyah Putri the Series: Jilbab in Love, with Anna Gilbert and Henidar Amroe; and Istri yang Dikhianati, led by Shireen Sungkar, Lian Firman.

“We are pleased to be introducing the only dedicated sinetron channel in Singapore. Fans will be the first to catch the latest episodes of their favorite soap operas at the same time as they air in Indonesia, through simulcast arrangements with MNC Drama Indonesia,” said Goh Seow Eng, the managing director for Singtel’s home division. “MNC Drama joins our other premium Malay and Indonesian channels such as Astro Ria, Astro Prima, Showcase and more. Singtel TV now offers the most compelling Asian entertainment content for our Malay audience.”
