The two will co-produce the new project, which is to be shot in four countries over thousands of kilometers. The series will showcase some of Asia's most epic landscapes. Across five episodes, Crossroads: The Silk Road will delve into stories in China, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Russia to show how the Silk Road is being reinvented for the modern era and how it is changing lives.

This landmark co-production is the third between CICC and IFA Media, following on The Chinese Hajj for National Geographic and Rebuilding Sichuan for Discovery Channel Asia.
