Scripps Networks Asia Pacific Taps Leena Singarajah to Lead Distribution

SINGAPORE: Leena Singarajah is taking on the post of head of distribution and ad sales for Scripps Networks Asia Pacific, beginning immediately in a limited capacity before transitioning to full time in January 2015.

Singarajah will be reporting to Derek Chang, the managing director of Scripps Networks Asia Pacific. This is a newly created post for the company, which sees Singarajah develop strategies for the continued distribution growth and regional and local ad sales business development for Scripps Networks’ channels across the region, including Asian Food Channel, Food Network, Travel Channel and HGTV. She will also manage program sales and distribution in the region, in partnership with Hud Woodle, the VP of international program licensing and distribution.

Prior to joining Scripps Networks, Singarajah served as senior VP and head of sales and business development at Asia Pacific for IMG Media, where she was responsible for overseeing content and channel distribution, sales, production and business development across the region.
