RTL CBS Entertainment Channel to Launch in Thailand

BANGKOK: TruVisions and RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network have signed an exclusive carriage agreement for the newly launched family entertainment channel to debut in HD in Thailand.

RTL CBS Entertainment HD will be available as part of TrueVisions' New Platinum HD, New Gold HD and New Super Family packages. It will also be available through TruVisions Anywhere service for consumers on the go.

Ong-ard Prapakamol, the chief commercial officer for TrueVisions Group Company, said, "TrueVisions is the leader in pay TV and is known as  The King of Entertainment for featuring the most extensive list of world-class entertainment content and the best image quality in Thailand through its HD broadcast service. We are planning to increase our entertainment HD channels to 14, which will add to the 35 entertainment channels available in standard definition, bringing our total offering to 49 entertainment channels. Recently, we secured the deal to broadcast RTL CBS Entertainment HD on TrueVisions channel 143. This channel features various top-class content, including reality shows The X Factor USA and America's Got Talent, entertainment news from Entertainment Tonight, and top rated U.S. series such as Elementary and the upcoming Under the Dome. We will increase our HD channels to 50 by the end of October."
