now TV Rolls Out New Channel in Malaysia

HONG KONG: PCCW’s now TV platform in Hong Kong has rolled out a new channel in Malaysia, on the IPTV service HyppTV, devoted to Asian feature films.

now Bagou Movie Channel is a joint initiative of quad-play operator now TV, Huayi Brothers, Peter Chan’s Shine Focus and Edko Films. It features first-run feature films from the Huayi Brothers, WE PICTURES and Edko Films slates, plus Malaysian and other Asian features from third-party providers. The initial lineup includes Cold War, Finding Mr. Right, Back to 1924, Night Fall and Love.

The channel joins three other now-branded channels on HyppTV: now International, now Mango and now HaiRun. The news follows the rollout of these three channels, as well as now Bagou, on StarHub in Singapore.
