New Deputy MD for Asia Pacific at A+E Networks

NEW YORK: Prem Kamath has been appointed by A+E Networks to serve as deputy managing director for the Asia Pacific, to be based in Singapore.

Kamath will be reporting to Alan Hodges, the managing director for the Asia Pacific at the company. Kamath will be providing leadership and strategic direction to the commercial, financial and operational functions of A+E Networks Asia. He will also be supporting A+E Networks' portfolio of businesses throughout the AsiaPac region. Kamath will be working closely with Hodges to ensure that finance goals are achieved and to manage growth. He comes to the company from STAR India, where he was executive VP and general manager, overseeing Channel V and Star Pravah.
