New Asia, LatAm Launches for Sundance, WE tv

NEW YORK: Ahead of CASBAA's kickoff tomorrow, AMC/Sundance Channel Global has announced new carriage deals in Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

LG Korea is set to begin offering Sundance Channel as a 24-hour linear HD network, adding to the service's carriage on Skylife, OllehTV by KT and B.TV by SK Broadband. In Taiwan, Sundance Channel, already available on Chunghwa’s MOD service, Dish HD, CNS and Vee Time’s Vee TV, will roll out as a mobile VOD service. And WE tv is joining Sundance on TrueVisions in Thailand.

Moreover, Accion has been tapped as exclusive sales agent for Sundance Channel and WE tv in the Philippines, where carriage deals have been inked with Cablelink TV, Asian Vision, Telmarc and Royal Cablevision. Sundance is already available on Skycable Philippines.

Sundance Channel has also scored new Latin American carriage, with TV Cable Ecuador, adding to its pan-regional distribution on DIRECTV.
