Netflix has bolstered its Korean content lineup for its service locally and globally through a new alliance with broadcasting group JTBC.

The streaming giant has entered into an agreement with South Korean broadcaster JTBC to license some 600 hours of scripted and non-scripted content.

The pact includes the upcoming Chef & My Fridge and Abnormal Summit, which will stream on Netflix Korea the day after the JTBC broadcast. In addition, titles like Beating Again and Can We Get Married will stream on Netflix globally in Q3.

Netflix previously aligned with JTBC for the new series MAN x MAN, which launched on the platform globally last week. Netflix is also at work on two original productions in Korea for 2018, Love Alarm and Kingdom.
