MIPTV Spotlight: ABS-CBN International Distribution

CANNES: Romantic dramas are what ABS-CBN International Distribution is pushing for MIPTV, starting with Got to Believe.

“It stars the Philippines’ hottest young love team and owes its charm to its unique blend of comedy, magic and interesting plot twists,” says Evelyn Raymundo, the company’s VP of integrated program acquisitions and international distribution.

No Greater Love, meanwhile, traces how true love finds it way across time and in spite of social standing. The story is set against the backdrop of Central Philippines’ elite sugar barons and the “sakadas” (plantation workers), spanning more than 50 years and important periods in the nation’s history.

The Legal Wife is a contemporary drama that poses the question of how far a woman should go to fight for her marriage. It stars Jericho Rosales (The Promise) and Angel Locsin (She-Wolf).
