CANNES/LOS ANGELES/HONG KONG: LifeStyle TV (LSTV), which is the Asia Pacific's first lifestyle channel for men, has picked up the premiere season of the drama Mad Men from Lionsgate to air across the pan-Asian region starting next month.

The 13×1-hour first season will debut on LSTV in November. In addition to the multi-Emmy-Award-winning Mad Men, Lionsgate's comedy Blue Mountain State will premiere on the network as well.

“We are very pleased to be working with our friends at LifeStyle TV and delighted that Mad Men will become available to a whole new audience across Asia Pacific,” said Peter Iacono, the president of international television and digital distribution. “This important region is seeing huge growth in multiplatform viewing which, in turn, is driving demand for globally renowned drama with high production values that can stand out in a crowded marketplace. We are sure that LSTV’s viewers will be as intrigued by this award-winning series as other audiences have around the world.”

Mad Men is an outstanding television series with provocative storytelling and complex characters," added Lanny Huang, the general manager for the Asia Pacific at Playboy Plus Entertainment Inc. “We are so proud to feature Mad Men on LifeStyle TV. Our viewers won’t be able to get enough.”
