Lionsgate & Celestial Tiger Enter Chinese VOD Deal

NEW YORK/SANTA MONICA: YOU On Demand is tapping into the Lionsgate film catalogue to bring customers in China movies such as Hotel Rwanda and the Saw franchise on a transactional VOD and subscription VOD basis.

The content will be provided by Celestial Tiger Entertainment, a joint venture of Saban Capital Group, Lionsgate and Astro’s Celestial Pictures. The deal with YOU On Demand features titles from the Lionsgate film library such as The Blair Witch Project, Dirty Dancing and Monsters Ball. Lionsgate’s movies will be available on through transactional VOD and subscription VOD in China.
