L.A. Screenings Spotlight: CJ E&M

The non-scripted format Love at First Song (LAFS) is a hybrid between a dating and music show that CJ E&M is presenting at the L.A. Screenings.

“With two of the most popular genres combined, LAFS brings a new sense of entertainment to the audience,” says Jangho Seo, general manager of the global content business at South Korea’s CJ E&M. “LAFS was originally developed by CJ E&M, but the first broadcaster was in Vietnam, where it scored high ratings and influential online buzz.”

The company is also offering up Stranger, a drama series with a complex storyline. Live, another drama, is about a group of cops. “Individually, all policemen are humans just like anyone, but because they have that title and wear the uniform, they have the dilemma of having to confront people” in order to enforce the law, says Seo. “With excellent creators and producers, we wish to be fruitful at the L.A. Screenings.”
