SINGAPORE/BALI: Coverage of the UEFA Champions League in Singapore is moving to Eurosport after the pan-regional broadcaster inked a three-year deal for exclusive media rights to the football tournament.

The deal, which kicks off in the 2015/2016 season, covers the rights to all 350 matches per season. Eurosport, carried on pay-TV platform StarHub, will broadcast one live match on Tuesdays and one live match on Wednesdays for the entire season. A highlight show will follow each live match and all additional matches will be made available to viewers online.

Peter Hutton, CEO of Eurosport, said: "Champions League on Eurosport in Singapore is a game changer for our presence in Asia. We are excited to bring passionate local sports fans this premium offering and are committed to continued investment in high quality sports. Eurosport already boasts an improved lineup in Asia Pacific with both US Open tennis and the Tour de France. With the addition of mid-week live premier football in Singapore, we will ensure Eurosport becomes even stronger across the region.”
