CJ E&M Expands Entertainment Business with Digital Content Studio

SEOUL: CJ E&M has launched Digital Studio, focused on developing original and branded content featuring Korean personalities that can be accessed on multiple platforms.

Digital Studio is meant to optimize the use of CJ E&M's linear channels along with its digital platforms. The studio will produce lifestyle-themed digital content (infotainment, beauty, fashion, food) and web dramas. Subtitles in English and Mandarin are available for popular titles

The lineup of original shows includes Pony's Beauty Diary, a self-beauty tutorial; Nayoung's 10,000 Likes, which sees a Korean fashion icon attempt to get 10,000 "likes" on her SNS; Gwanghee's Love Recipe, which presents Korean food loved by K-Pop fans; and the sophomore season of Miss Korea, a travel reality series. Sweet 20s, Korea's first beauty-themed web drama, is being uploaded every Friday on Digital Studio's YouTube channel.

Digital Studio's content is available to view on CJ E&M's free video streaming site LIFESTYLER.co.kr; its YouTube channel INSITE TV; and on the lifestyle networks OnStyle, O'live and XTM.
