CASBAA Adds Two New Board Members

HONG KONG: CASBAA has elected Todd Miller, the CEO of Celestial Tiger Entertainment, and William Wade, the president and CEO of AsiaSat, to its board of directors.

Miller and Wade are replacing retiring members Rob Gilby, the senior VP and managing director of Disney-ABC International Television (Asia Pacific), and Steve Marcopoto, the president and managing director of Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific.

Marcel Fenez, the global leader of entertainment and media practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, was re-elected as chairman of CASBAA. Janice Lee, the managing director of TV and new media at PCCW, and Mark Patterson, the CEO for the Asia Pacific at GroupM, were re-elected for additional terms on the board.

“We are delighted to welcome William Wade and to have Todd Miller return to the CASBAA board of directors,” said Fenez. “With their vast experience and wide-ranging knowledge of the multichannel TV landscape in the region, Miller and Wade will prove to be invaluable in helping chart the future of the association. We are also please to have to continued support of Lee and Patterson whose contributions to the governance of the association has been an integral part of our success.”

Fenez continued: “On behalf of the board of directors, council of governors and the executive office, CASBAA would also like to recognize the incredible efforts and hard work of both Robert Gilby and Steve Marcopoto. Their guidance and dedication to the evolution of the Association will be greatly missed.”
