Brightcove Beefs Up Asia Pacific Media Team

SINGAPORE: Video cloud-service provider Brightcove has made four new hires in the Asia Pacific in a move to bolster the company’s leadership role in the region’s broadcast, media and entertainment sectors.

The appointments are Tomer Azenkot as the general manager for Asia and head of sales for media; Radha K. Raman as the marketing director for Asia Pacific; Ben Morrell as the senior technical consultant for media in Asia; and Xavier Marle as the media account director for Asia. The team will be based in Singapore, where they’ll report to Dennis Rose, the senior VP of Brightcove Asia Pacific and Japan.

Azenkot previously served as general manager for the same region at Dalet Digital Media Systems. Before joining Brightcove, Raman was head of marketing and communications at Grass Valley. Morrell also jumps ship from Grass Valley. Meanwhile, Marle formerly worked at Verimatrix Asia Pacific as their regional pre-sales consultant.
