Beyond International Reports Profit Gains

SYDNEY: Beyond International has posted a profit of A$8.5 million ($8.8 million) for the 12 months ended June 30, a gain of 66 percent over the prior year.

Revenue increased by 10 percent for the year. Television production revenue was up 7 percent. From the home-entertainment segment, revenue dipped slightly, down 2 percent.

At Beyond Distribution, the TV and film distribution segment, revenue gained 21 percent. The segment EBITDA for the 12-month period increased by 19 percent.

The digital marketing division, Beyond D, which was formed in April, contributed revenues of A$3.2 million and A$176,000 EBITDA to the group.
