Australian SVOD Service Presto Scores HBO, Showtime Titles

SYDNEY: Presto Entertainment has locked in licensing pacts with HBO and Showtime to deliver exclusive Australian access to a slew of popular titles, including The Wire and Dexter, to the new SVOD service.

In an exclusive SVOD deal with Presto Entertainment, HBO programs headed to Presto in 2015 include The Sopranos, Entourage, The Wire, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire. The deal also features Girls, Veep and the historical World War II miniseries Band of Brothers and The Pacific. Additionally, Presto scored Showtime’s Dexter, The Borgias, Californication, Deadwood and Ray Donovan.
