ATF Spotlight: TV Azteca

SINGAPORE: TV Azteca will be promoting A Love to Remember (Memori Cinta Suraya), the Malaysian adaptation of the telenovela Siempre Tuya Acapulco, at ATF.

The novela centers on a woman who gradually falls in love with a man who can’t remember who he is or where he came from, unaware of all the suffering their romance will bring. Martha Contreras, the head of sales for Asia at distributor Comarex, notes that more local adaptations of TV Azteca titles are in the works. “We intend to produce more and more in the region to supply not only the Asian markets but the international ones as well,” she says.

Also on offer at ATF is Tanto Amor (Under the Storm), about two lovers who must overcome secrets, lies and betrayals to fulfill their fate.

“TV Azteca is renowned for its notable and captivating telenovelas, which are suitable for all audiences and perfect for adaptation in local markets,” Contreras adds.
