ATF Spotlight: Passion Distribution

SINGAPORE: From the producers of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding comes Wedding Town, a lighthearted series sold by Passion Distribution that celebrates quirky and unusual nuptials.

The company is also showcasing Churchill’s Secret, a major ITV drama starring Michael Gambon. “Churchill’s Secret explores a little-known event in the war hero’s life and its effect on his family and Great Britain,” says Nick Tanner, Passion’s senior sales manager for Australia, New Zealand and Asia. “It is the TV drama event for 2016.”

Another highlight from the company is Lookalikes, a new comedy that follows the lives of a group of people who resemble such celebrities as David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Ed Sheeran.

“Our mission is to ensure Passion’s distinctive slate of drama, entertainment and factual programming is central to broadcasters’ and non-linear platforms’ schedules in 2016,” Tanner adds.
