ATF Spotlight: ITV Studios Global Entertainment

SINGAPORE: At this year’s ATF, ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) is launching ITV Studios Format Showcase 2015, which will see the company present its best formats to producers and broadcasters from across the region.

“Our format presence in Asia has grown each year and so we’re thrilled to be launching ITV Studios Format Showcase 2015 during ATF,” says Hyeonza Hong, the company’s senior VP of sales for Asia.

Among the titles being highlighted is I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, one of ITVS GE’s most popular international formats. There is also Love Island, a successful reality dating show on ITV. “Forget how the game is played—you just need to watch all the attractive contestants on a hot Mediterranean island,” says Hong.

ITVS GE is also promoting the scripted series Jekyll and Hyde and Beowulf. “Both these titles are based on classic stories that are already familiar to many Asian audiences,” says Hong.
