Shanghai-based FremantleMedia China CEO Vivian Yin has been named ambassador for China of the Asian Academy Creative Awards.

In addition to her position as head of FremantleMedia China, Yin serves as a general board member of format protection body FRAPA. She is also a member of NATPE’s advisory board and is on the jury for Spike Asia 2018.

The Asian Academy Creative Awards recognize creative achievements across Asia Pacific. Part of the Singapore Media Festival, they are supported by IMDA.

Yin said: “I’m delighted to contribute to our industry via the Asian Academy Creative Awards because they not only celebrate creative excellence but develop the next generation of content-makers through its Skills Development Academy, so I was more than happy to support such an initiative. But, of course, my role is to ensure China has a strong presence in the awards and that our finest work is represented.”
