Paramount Channel Now Available in the Maldives

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has inked a multiyear deal with digital services provider Dhiraagu to launch Paramount Channel as a linear network in the Maldives.

Starting today, Paramount Channel is being offered as part of the Basic Pack through Dhiraagu TV. The network will be one of more than 80 premium channels available on the IPTV service, spanning general entertainment, kids, sports, music, movies and more.

Paras Sharma, the senior VP and general manager for Southeast Asia at VIMN, stated: “The introduction of Paramount Channel in the Maldives marks our entry into [the territory], and also expands the footprint of one of the fastest-growing brands in VIMN’s international portfolio. With a well-curated and engaging movie viewing experience, we look forward to offering a distinctive programming lineup with great content that audiences will love in the Maldives.”
