APOS, an event focused on the Asia Pacific media, telecoms and entertainment industry, is moving this year’s edition to September as a result of coronavirus concerns.

The annual event organized by Media Partners Asia (MPA) was due to be held in Bali, Indonesia, from April 21 to 23. MPA said today that “following stakeholder consultation regarding the now globally spreading coronavirus,” the event would be moved to September 1 to 3.

The conference will return to the Ayana Resort in Bali, where it’s been held for the last decade.

News of APOS’s postponement comes after Filmart announced it would be moving its event in Hong Kong from March to August. At present, BroadcastAsia is still due to take place in Singapore this June. Busan Content Market is also still on the calendar for May.
