Viki Signs Deals with Nippon TV, Fuji, TV Asahi

Rakuten Viki has inked deals with Nippon TV, TV Asahi and Fuji Creative Corporation to add a wealth of Japanese series to its online video streaming network.

The collection of new shows coming to Rakuten Viki as part of this deal include ten series from Nippon TV, six from TV Asahi and nine from Fuji. The 25 shows have been recent on-air successes in Japan. Series will begin rolling out on the platform this month.

From TV Asahi, Holiday Love, Adult High School, Anino Dating Agency, Age Harassment, Sumika Sumire and Good-bye, Enari-kun join the Viki lineup.

Nippon TV titles coming to the service include Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa, A Girl’s Breakfast, Overprotected Kahoko, Frankenstein’s Love and Caution, Hazardous Wife. These five titles are currently available, and a further five will be coming soon: May I Blackmail You?, SWIM!, Tokyo Tarareba Girls, Pretty Proofreader and Your Home is My Business!

Among the Fuji titles joining the service are three installments of Osaka Loop Line, as well as Wedding Bells for the Otaku, Signal, A Sharply Graceful Girl and Fugitive Boys.
