Tricon Makes New Appointments Across Factual, Kids & Family Divisions

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television is expanding its factual business with two new hires, alongside the appointment of Christine Davis as director of animation production within its kids and family division.

Davis has worked on numerous series such as Arthur, Justin Time and Anne of Green Gables. She has credits in all animation production formats, including classical, flash, stop motion, 3D and special effects. Her most recent business venture was as founding partner of the boutique animation consulting company Animated Solutions.

Dan Miller comes to Tricon as VP of factual development. He previously helmed Build it Bigger for Discovery and Science Channel. Most recently, Miller ran the series Going Deep with David Rees for Esquire and National Geographic, and All-American Makers for Science Channel. Prior to this, Dan was VP for Powderhouse Productions, where he led the television series while developing and directing pilots for Discovery, History, Animal Planet and AMC.

Cheyanne Dillenberger takes up the role of director of factual development. Dillenberger will focus on creating, developing and selling original concepts, innovative formats and unique character-based programming to the U.S. market. Prior to joining Tricon, she served as director of development for Discovery Studios. Dillenberger previously worked in casting and development at GRB Entertainment, Raw TV’s New York office and Lion TV.
