BERLIN: The Ink Factory, the most recent project from which is the TV adaptation of John le Carré’s The Night Manager, has hired Becky Sloviter to join its Los Angeles office as senior VP of development and production.

In this role, Sloviter will help create and produce programming for film and scripted series for The Ink Factory in the L.A. office. Among the projects on the company’s slate is the six-hour adaptation of The Night Manager, which is premiering at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival.

Sloviter is the most recent addition to a growing team, which includes new hires Mona Qureshi and Emma Broughton as co-heads of development and production in London, and Jane Frazer in the role of head of physical production. Yogita Puri also joined recently as head of commercial and business affairs.

Simon Cornwell and Stephen Cornwell, co-founders of The Ink Factory, said: “These appointments underpin the rapid expansion of The Ink Factory, both in the U.S. and U.K. Becky, Mona, Emma, Yogita and Jane bring unique and valuable experience in their respective disciplines and will be integral as we continue to grow our company. We are thrilled to be adding strength in depth to what is already a wonderful team.”
