ESPN, FOX and Warner Bros. Discovery have decided to cancel plans for Venu Sports, their proposed virtual MVPD service.

Disney is set to combine its Hulu + Live TV business with Fubo, becoming the majority owner of the merged business and settling all litigation between the two companies over the upcoming Venu Sports venture.

Fubo has secured a preliminary injunction from a New York court against Venu Sports, the upcoming joint venture from The Walt Disney Company, Fox Corporation and Warner Bros. Discovery.

More than 40 percent of U.S. sports viewers are likely to subscribe to Venu Sports.
